P6 Graduation Ceremony

After rehearsing the dance with the kids, i nearly forgotten to do this banner. But thank god I remembered 2 days before the ceremony. And hence this simple design. It's actually a .GIF image and suppose to be blinking. But blogger can't seems to load it. It's ok, nothing fanciful anyway.

Shall I share the dance with you guys too?! YES!
I staged this dance with my friend and it is the last thing I want to do before i leave. Really had created strong bonds with these kids. =)

Junior Prefect Badge

There is this Junior Prefect system going on in the lower primary and i guess the school are training them to be prefects when they are in P3 onwards. That's pretty cool, i cant imagine those little ones can actually lead! LOL.

I hope my favourite girl is one of them. LOL.

i was told to design a staff newsletter template and hence the design below. It's just a simple header to be put in Microsoft Word so teachers can just type in easily. =)

But this project seems to be on hold. =/ Everyone is so busy. and so, i din get to see it 'lauching' before i left.

Well, I've been given another task and that is to design a flyer and a banner for the school back then.

i especially like the flyer design and i gotten the idea from a flyer one teacher gave me. but it's such a pity that they are only photocopy it instead of printing it colour. of coz, budget yea? =)

Olympic Torch 2008

Ok this is not computer garphics but this is my handmade Olympic Torch for the school. Yes! It's handmade by me, solely. And i am so proud of my work. Its made of vangard sheet and some printing, drawings, photoshop-ing, cutting and pasting. I'm so proud!

Cannot request too much lar ok, do till lidat already very good liao le. LOL. My head nearly explode when i was thinking how to do out the design for the torch lor. Still, i am so proud of my torch. HAHA!

The kid who ran with this torch even request to bring home. I wanted to bring home but, aiya, think cannot lar have to leave it in school. hehe. =)

Lower Primary Sports Badge

Ok it've been quite some time since the last time i did badge designs. now i am given a task or work or wat u call that to design a badge for the upcoming Lower Primary Sports on the 8 August, celebration for the National Day.

I am rather pleased with the design and i really love it.

I drew everything myself except for the bunny which i ripped from deviantart. Anyway, yea, that's pretty much about it.

I am currently designing banners for the school. and i have no inspirations no ideas! Bahx, i am going crazy soon. LOL.

ChaNGe - My first paid design!!

my colleague gave me a project. her boyfriend is setting up a company with his friends and i will need to design a logo and a namecard for him.

It is my ever first paid design job ok. Those i did below was haiz.. unpaid and is out of my jobscope. But well, experience and it add to my portfolio and so.. =)

i have an extremely hard time drawing and there were some cock ups, because i have to draw everything from sketch, else the company or me will be sued.

and FINALLY i did it!

it was not a fantastic job done but well, i am still learning and compared to the professionals, i'm still a small small fry. I need to work harder. =)

Library Representative Badge

It was still the button badge craze in my school. and so the Library teacher I/C wanted me to help her to design a Library rep badge for her. =/

Haiku Badges

Button Badge Craze is still going on HOT in my school and so one of the teachers asked me to design badge designs for the Haiku Poems competition.

I dun really know what Haiku means but according to her its japanese poems formed with 3 words per line. Maybe something like..

Birds fly high,
Hard to catch,
Friends like you,
Hard to find.

Door Banner

Then i was given another project and that is to design a door banner with our school vision, mission to be put at every classroom door.

but my principal is not happy with the pictures so this project is on hold already.

Before i left, they requested to have a change of background colour to a more 'relaxing' colour. so i chose this. The teacher said, "chloe finally we have budget to print this banner already."

SO, they are actually ok with the pictures of the kids. *grins*

Certificate Design(External)

There is a Brass Band Music Exchange Programme going on in my school and hence the Brass Band teacher I/C had requested me to design certs for the participating schools. As yours truly have absolutely no ideas + inspiration so i shall improvise from last year cert template.

So, this shall be the template forever to be given to outside schools/people or whoever. Hehe.

*Again, i dun noe if i will be sue by the school for using their name but well, they did receive the certificate from my school. LOL.

Sports Wall Designs

The IGNITE programme a.k.a TAF Club Co-ordinator of my school had asked me to help to design 3 sports wall for the IGNITE kids so when it's raining they could play with the sports wall.

It is a interesting concepts i must say. LOL.

Sports Carnival 2008

My school had bought a badge making machine and so we can make badges of our own. Yeahness!

Well, the first project for this will be the Sports Carnival 2008. I have to design a total of 4 badges.

These 2 badges are for redemption whereby children will play at different stations and try to get as many stamps as possible. Every 20 stamps entitled to 1 badge. =)

For the P3s, we have the P3 Inter-class Kids' Athletics Competition. and the best is all classes will go home with a badge, indicating their positions though.

This is one of the positions as all are similar(only different colours) hence i only posted up one.

and as we have student leaders helping us to run the event, best to regconise them is to pin a badge on their shirt! And hence...

Funky hot red! LOL.

Student Handbook Cover 2008

School term has ended and it's time to prepare for the next year.

So i have another designing task on hand - the student handbook for 2008.

After much work and stuffs, finally~

I felt so malu when my principal happily announced to the teachers, "Thank you chloe for designing the beautiful handbook cover for next year."

WHY!?

Because i think the handbook design isn't nice at all but maybe just to submit something up i just anyhow do. =/

It's holiday what do you expect!? Brain is not working well. LOL. Better not let my bosses know else i will lose my oh-so-relaxing job while studying. LOL.

Graduation + Prize Giving Certificate

End of the year, got to reward and congratualate students who had done well in their studies and also the P6s who are going to graduate from the school.

Hence, I'm assigned to design the certificate for them. =D

I only post one design up becoz both designs are more or less the same. Just that the prize giving cert has some students pictures on the bottom right. =)

Secondary School Fair

It was end of the year and to help the P6 students in choosing their secondary school, our school had organised the 'Secondary School Fair 2007'. We invited several schools around us to showcase and promote their schools to our students.

My HOD Maths had wanted me to design this pamplet for the fair.

*I do not know if posting the secondary school name and address + contact will land me into any lawsuit or not but i tink will not la since i am at the same time publicising for them. Hehe.

Kabun Baru Family Day

Our school are invited to Kabun Baru Family Day at Bishan Park and we have a booth there showcasing + promoting the school. Hence, my VP had wanted me to design big posters to be displayed at the booth. and the teachers will provide me with the information and text.

It is a big event because even Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will be at the event. =D

There is actually another poster of 'To Inspire' but i lost it during some error saving in my thumbdrive and the image saved was corrupted. =( But the layout is the same though.

And I have to design a school banner to be put at the booth as well. Simple and professional, at least to me la. LOL.

After seeing + approving the banner design, my principal had wanted to make it into bookmarks and we can distribute to people who visit our booth. =)

There isn't a big difference just that there are red lines added to it. =)

National Day Brochere

My HOD PE asked me to help her do a simple brochere for the National Day celebration in school last year. It was a last minute job and thus this.

Actually i would not even call this a design but sigh it's my work still. LOL.
